Goliath Hardwoods
Red Oak
$4.05
Red Oak is the most widely used hardwood in North America. Its open, porous grain accepts stain beautifully, and its reddish-pink heartwood gives furniture and cabinetry a warm, classic look. Straight-grained and consistent, it's easy to work with hand and machine tools. Quartersawn Red Oak produces a distinctive ray fleck pattern that's highly decorative. Not suitable for outdoor use due to its open pores.
