Goliath Hardwoods
Padauk
Padauk is one of the most visually arresting exotic hardwoods available — freshly cut boards blaze a vivid orange-red that slowly deepens to a rich reddish-brown over time. The color transformation is dramatic and beautiful. Grain is typically straight to interlocked with a coarse texture. It machines cleanly, glues well, and finishes beautifully. One of the more affordable exotics, which makes it a favorite for projects where color is the focal point.
