Goliath Hardwoods
Limba
Limba is one of Africa's most versatile and underrated cabinet woods — a pale straw-yellow to light brown with a straight to slightly interlocked grain that machines effortlessly and takes stain, paint, and clear finishes beautifully. Often called Korina in the guitar world, it's the wood of choice for many high-end electric guitar bodies due to its tonal qualities and light weight. An excellent all-around exotic for furniture, cabinetry, and instrument making.
