Goliath Hardwoods
Hickory
$0.00
Hickory is the hardest and heaviest domestic hardwood we carry — nearly twice as hard as Cherry and significantly harder than White Oak. Its dramatic contrast between pale sapwood and reddish-brown heartwood creates a bold, rustic look that's become highly fashionable in farmhouse and cabin-style interiors. Extremely tough and shock-resistant, but that same density makes it demanding to work. Carbide tooling recommended. Worth the effort for applications where strength and character both matter.
