Goliath Hardwoods
Black Palm
Black Palm is unlike any other wood you'll encounter — it's technically a monocot, not a true hardwood, and its structure is fundamentally different. The dark brown to black fibers are embedded in a lighter tan matrix, creating a dramatic speckled or streaked appearance that looks more like a composite material than wood. Extremely hard and dense along the grain but can be brittle across it. Requires sharp tools and careful technique, but the results are stunning and completely unique.
